QUICKIE featuring Tell the Wolves I'm Home by Carol Rifka Brunt

In this shortcut episode, we look at what our host, Erin, is reading now, what new books have been added to her queue, and a short review on the book Tell the Wolves I’m Home by Carol Rifka Brunt. I bought this book in the beautiful Elliott Bay Book Company bookstore in Seattle, WA based on a recommendation card printed in front of it. What a delight! This book covers a heart-tugging story about a young girl who loses her uncle to AIDS and explores her love for him, as well as her maturity and ability to handle grief. The story covers more than just grief over losing a loved one, but also of losing your childhood and shedding your shame and fears of love.
